Dear NYSOWA communicators:
For the upcoming boating season, I’d like to extend my hand to be a resource to you when you have questions or need information about any topic related to recreational boat ownership.
At Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS) we’ve got great maintenance tips, safety info, how-to and legislative information as well as details the services boaters need, such as 24 roadside help for trailer boaters, and on-water assistance with 18 TowboatUS locations in NY – make that 19 as we are adding one in Sodus Bay this season. We are good at “forensics” too: how boats get damaged, how to prevent a bad day on the water, and what boaters do wrong and how to learn from it.
I’d greatly enjoy being your “Mr. Boat Guy.” If you ever would like to go for a TowBoatUS ride along, or see one of our towing locations and boats, let me know. Please also let me know if you would like to receive our press releases.
Also, as a longtime NY state resident, I hope to meet you all one day (I’m lived in Western and Central NY, the North Country, and now Tarrytown, NY).
