Member Spotlight – Bryan Southard – Sweet Cedar Game Calls
My wife Karen and I live in Niverville, which is in Columbia County, NY. I recently learned about NYSOWA when I donated a turkey call for the organization’s annual conference. After hearing about the organization and its membership, I knew it was something I wanted to become a part of. I have been making turkey calls for over 25 years. I started off making box calls as a hobby, looking to maybe possibly turning it into a business. We have since then grown into a full-blown game call company, which consists of turkey calls, deer calls, and duck calls. I am honored that one of my box calls was accepted into the National Wild Turkey Federation’s Museum in Edgefield, South Carolina.
My calls can be found at Zero Tolerance Manufacturing in Hudson, and Bulls Eye Jim’s Archery store in East Greenbush. My biggest accomplishment is having my full line of turkey and duck calls sold at the Kittery Trading Post in Maine.
My interests include fishing, camping, turkey and deer hunting, as well as guiding others on turkey hunts.
I look forward to meeting and networking with members of this group. My contact information is:
